Mobile Video Services
Mobile video services are growing in popularity as more subscribers watch short video clips or make video calls with their mobile devices. However, the value to subscribers is out of line with the amount of network resources video consumes. According to a recent Tekelec survey conducted by Strategy Analytics, video consumes about 50 percent of network resources but represents only 12 percent of the total amount that subscribers are willing to pay for mobile internet services.
