Morrisville, N.C. -(Jan. 29, 2003)- Tekelec (Nasdaq: TKLC) announced today that it had been awarded a contract by Maroc Telecom for its EAGLE 5 Signaling Application System (SAS). The complete turnkey solution will restructure the company’s entire signaling network using Tekelec’s platform and includes a long-term service commitment. Maroc Telecom is the largest telecommunications provider and a leading mobile operator in Morocco.
