SIP Sessions

Telecom operators are migrating to new IP services and the all-IP architecture that underpins these services. And this migration is taking place at different rates depending on the characteristics and behaviors of their subscribers, the dynamics of the markets they operate in and their current architectures. In short, consumers want to personalize their services and their interactions with telecom operators, share services with their social networks, and access the same service on multiple devices and networks. How does that all happen? What are the enabling technologies? How will they be rolled out to the best advantage of both the operator and the consumer?

SIP Sessions is a place to have these discussions. We’ll talk here about SIP and other technologies that are or will be instrumental in the roll out of new mobile services. The goal for this blog is simple: enable provocative and interesting conversation on SIP, the technology challenges and breakthroughs as we move to an all-IP environment, the network implementations and the business results. Through our posts, we hope to foster collaboration and encourage innovation. We know a lot about a lot, but we also know what we don’t know. We’re here to learn, too.

The blog relies on the deep experience and expertise of a team of technologists and thought leaders within Tekelec. Check out their bios in the About The Authors section.
