ISO 9001 / TL 9000 - Quality Management System
As part of its ongoing commitment to quality, the Tekelec Quality Management System is certified to the ISO 9001 and TL 9000 quality management system standards. The certification scope includes multiple facilities that are responsible for the design, development, manufacture, delivery, and support of all Tekelec product lines. ISO 9001 is a widely accepted quality standard that serves as the foundation for TL 9000. The TL 9000 requirements are specific to the Telecom industry and are maintained by an industry forum of Service Providers and their suppliers that is known as the QuEST Forum. Tekelec has been an active member of the QuEST Forum since its inception.

ISO 27001 – Information Security Management System
In order to ensure the robust implementation of its Information Security Management System (ISMS), an accredited third party registrar has certified that the Tekelec ISMS conforms to all the requirements of ISO 27001 standard. The focus of the Tekelec ISMS is to ensure security of Tekelec’s critical information assets addressing Physical Security, Human Resources Security, Business Continuity Management, and the security of the Information Technology infrastructure that protects the intellectual property of Tekelec and customers as well as the privacy of our customers and employees.

Tekelec has expanded its process approach toward driving for continual improvement to include its efforts to be a good steward of the environment. Tekelec has established an Environmental Management System (EMS) that is committed to:
